How to Prepare
- Let hair grow out a bit. Hair needs some length for the wax to grip. Your esthetician can tell you what works best for the area you are booking.
- Gently exfoliate a day or two before your appointment.
- Skip heavy lotions on the day of your visit. Clean, dry skin helps the wax work well.
- Avoid sunburn. Sun-damaged skin should heal before waxing.
- Tell us about your skincare, especially retinoids or other products that can make skin more sensitive.
Aftercare Tips
- Wear loose, breathable clothing after body waxing.
- For the first day or so, skip hot tubs, saunas, heavy workouts and direct sun on the area.
- Keep the area clean, and start gentle exfoliation a few days later to help keep skin smooth.
